Our Story

OATOLOGY started with a plastic container that was never meant for the job.

We were making overnight oats the night before and taking them to work in whatever cheap plastic container was in the cupboard. None of it was designed for this. The mouth was too narrow to eat from comfortably, the spoon had nowhere to go once we had finished, and more than once it leaked through a work bag. For something we did every single morning, the tools were an afterthought.

So we made the jar that should have existed

Everything on it earns its place. The steel lid doubles as a measure, holding exactly 50g of oats, and the jar has a milk line on the back, so you get the same balanced bowl every morning with no scales and no guesswork. A two-lid seal, with a silicone sealing lid, keeps it shut tight in your bag. The mouth is wide, so it is easy to fill, eat from and clean. And a stainless steel spoon clips to the jar with its own holder, so you never forget it and it always has somewhere to sit when you are done.

Fewer, better things

One good jar, made properly from thick glass, stainless steel and silicone, built to be reused for years rather than replaced. Designed in the UK, for the mornings that feel less chaotic when the small things are sorted.

That is the whole idea. A breakfast you look forward to, prepped in seconds the night before, ready to grab and go.
